“The Jannersten scholarship was founded by Eric Jannersten’s close friend Nils Jensen in 1982 after my fathers death. Jensen was at the time president of both the Swedish Bridge Federation and the European Bridge League. 
Nils and I agreed that the best way to honor my fathers memory was to focus on youth bridge in Sweden. Either young talented players or volunteers working for youth bridge. The winner this year was a young talent that does unpaid work for younger players.
