As of September 1, 2019, Janneke Wackwitz is the new captain of the Dutch girls’ team.
Anneke Simons (captain) and Aarnout Helmich (coach) have announced that they will stop as supervisors from that date. With that, the European Championship in Norway, where this team won a bronze medal, was a nice end to a successful period.

Janneke Wackwitz has been very successful as a player of the team in recent years. Not only was she a member of the team that won the European Championship bronze this year, she also became world champion in 2016, European champion in 2017 and won a silver medal at the 2012 World Cup.
We are convinced that with this luggage Janneke can inspire the players of the team to deliver top performances.
