From Monday through Thursday next week 8 top teams, one from Italy, one from Sweden and six from USA, will be playing team matches of 24 boards against each other on BBO. The teams are Lavazza, Upmark, Moss, Spector, Blass, Tulin, Meltzer, and Street. Each day start times are 10:00 am and 2:30 pm Eastern, 15.00 and 19.30 Central European Time.
Many thanks to the teams for taking the time, and to Bid72 and Netbridge Online, Jan van Cleeff and Jan van den Hoek in particular, for arranging this. I’m sure that the matches will attract many kibitzers. Feel free to share my post so that as many as possible know about it.
