Junior Tournament at Os – SR Bank (junior open 2020)
The junior bridge is booming in Norway, and the local junior bridge clubs are actively taking steps to create arenas where young people can meet. This weekend, the Os Juniorbridgeklubb invited to their own junior bridge tournament, with a mix of fresh players and world champions.

The tournament was sponsored by SR Bank, and the local business community showed a sprinkling of prizes to the young players.
The winners of the tournament were not unexpectedly local hero Christian Bakke in pairs with the visiting Christian Fredrik Johnsen. Bakke has established himself in the world elite in open class, and is moving towards a career as a professional bridges player. Second place went to spot springs Anders Brogeland – Marius Dalemark Austad, with Thea Hove Hauge (formerly Os BK) – Katarina Ekren in third place.
Everyone at the podium represents Norway on a junior national team, and played in SR-bank junior open side by side with completely fresh players.
The organizer had arranged prizes in almost every round.
