A Look Back at the European Conference on Intergenerational Activities – Sorbonne, April 30, 2025
The French Bridge Federation had the honor of participating in this wonderful event in the Grand Salon d’Honneur of the Sorbonne, alongside committed educational, institutional, and community stakeholders.
📍 On the agenda: promoting our intergenerational initiatives, introductions to bridge, and demonstrating the game’s impact on transmission, social cohesion, and cognitive development at all ages.
🗣️ Jean-Pierre Desmoulins presented the roll out of Petit Bridge in schools in France and internationally.
🔚 Highlight of the day: a call for the creation of an interministerial delegation for mind sports, to sustainably structure this innovative initiative in the service of education and public health. 🎤 Keynote presentations by Erik Orsenna, Monica Neagoy, and Carole Gadet, as well as enriching discussions with Maciej Krzysztofowicz and Desa Srsen, representatives of the European Commission.
