WHEN ?: From October 26th 2020 to November 1st 2020. One week. Qualification: 4 days. Finals: 2 days. WHO can play ?: Every bridge player in the world whatever their standard – this is not just for professionals!. FunBridge (Europe) BBO (US) and CBO (China), the three main online bridge platforms will simultaneously organize this event in 2020. The winner on each platform will be awarded a title: Winner of the 2020 Funbridge BIC / Winner of the 2020 BBO BIC / Winner of the 2020 CBO BIC There will be also titles by country, from the point at which there are at least 10 players from that country participating: Winner of the 2020 Funbridge BIC – Country / Winner of the 2020 BBO BIC – Country / Winner of the 2020 CBO BIC – Country
Championship: qualification:
October 26th to October 29th 2020
Who: Every player, good or bad, young or more senior, no matter where in the world is based COULD participate and become an International Champion! Where: FunBridge / BBO (Bridge Base Online) / CBO (China Bridge Online) Tournament price: around 3$ per player Tournaments rules: • Rules are the same on CBO/BBO/Funbridge. • 100 tournaments will be available during the 4 days. • All tournaments will be 12 boards. • All tournaments can be played at a time convenient to the individual players • All tournaments will be closed at the end of the qualification period. • Qualifications are based on average best 10 tournaments • Players must achieve an average score higher than 55% in order to qualifyChampionship: finals
From October 31st 2020 to November 1st
Who: Every player achieving an average score of 55% or higher across their best 10 qualification tournaments.
Where: FunBridge / BBO (Bridge Base Online) / CBO (China Bridge Online)
Tournament entry to the Finals for the qualified players is free of charge
Tournament rules:
• Rules are the same on CBO/BBO/Funbridge. • 6 tournaments will be available during the 2 days. • The final ranking will be based on the average scores over the player’s best 4 tournament results • All tournaments will be 12 boards. • All tournaments can be played at a time convenient to the individual players • All tournaments will be closed at the end of the final period.
