Loughborough University: 1st – 3rd September 2017

The Junior Teach-In is English bridge’s flagship junior teaching event, and is organised by EBED.

What’s the Junior ‘Teach-In’?

Whether you are a complete beginner or a junior expert – all levels of player are welcome to come and give bridge a go! The Junior ‘Teach-In’ takes place over a whole weekend at Loughborough University with all meals, two nights’ en-suite accommodation, and all the bridge tuition and play included! We aim to cater for all levels of junior players from beginner to aspiring international with a program of teaching, play, and fun social and sporting activities. Everyone who attends will have chance to participate in the Junior Award Scheme, and work towards completing one of the six levels. There will be an accelerated learning course to take older teenagers players ‘from novice to player’ in a weekend. The event is aimed at those who are under-21…ish – we won’t be asking to see birth certificates. Juniors are always welcome to bring a parent or other relative along too – and show them how the game should be played. Superb tuition is provided by a team of outstanding teachers – all with have a long history in the game but very much young at heart. They are under the expert guidance of the ever-youthful Phil Godfrey. So, come and enjoy a packed weekend of bridge tuition, coaching, play and fun. Please encourage your family and friends to join us – they’ll have a great time.
