Introducing Tuana Altun (TUR) by Fernando Lema

Buenos Aires, July 27, 2018 Tuana is a bridge player who, despite being only 8 years old, has already started to excel in kid’s competitions. During the last 14th European Youth Pairs Championships, his father Altun, help me with these questions: a) When did You start to play bridge? I started learning bridge at the age of five, I play bridge since this moment, i am eight years old now. b) What do you feel when You play a tournament? I’m so excited when I am getting ready to play, but I do not remember what I feel during the game. c) What expectations did You have in this big event? I really wanted to get a medal. I was very excited in the last boards, but we did not win. d) Who is your partner? Furkan Tozcu, he is eleven years old. e) What plans do You have for the future? Are You going to China? The Turkey U16 Championship is next week, I want to win it. My brother is going to China.

f) Who plays better, your brother or You? Of course me!!! g) Where do You usually play bridge? We have a kids bridge club in our district, KAOM Mind Sport Club. h) What about the time you spend in the club? Its so much fun. I meet my friends a few times a week and play tournaments. Sometimes my father teaches us, tells us our mistakes. But we continue to make mistakes again 🙂 i) Do you want to add something more? I love bridge. In a few years I hope we can win European and the World Championships.
