Come and play in Orlando! Enjoy a really exciting event which will be held alongside the 15th World Bridge Series. This Championshipis for Junior players under 25 years old (i.e. they must have been born ON OR AFTER 1st January 1993 and not reach the age of 25 until after December 31st 2018). The event is fully transnational, which means that players from across the world, from different NBOs, can come together as team-mates or in partnership to compete. The Format includes a teams, a pairs and an individual event. Teams: 22/23 September – This teams event will be played over two days with ten Swiss sessions of 10 boards each. The winners will be given the title of Youth Triathlon World Teams Champion and medals (Gold, Silver and Bronze) will be awarded to the leading 3 teams. 29 teams competed in the last edition held in 1998 in Lille – the Podium: 1^ Italy Intonti, 2^ Denmark Madsen, 3^ Italy Guariglia. Pairs: The qualification will be held on 24 September and will consist of 3 sessions each of 16 boards. The two finals will be held on 25th September: Final A: Barometer – numbers of pairs and boards will be announced after the close of registration Final B: 3 sessions of 16 boards each. The winners of Final A will be given the title of Youth Triathlon World Pairs Champion and medals (Gold, Silver and Bronze) will be awarded to the leading 3 pairs. 66 pairs competed at the last edition held in 1998 in Lille – the leading three pairs were: 1^ Przyjemski-Zaremba Poland, 2^ Marino-Pagani Italy, 3^ Lagas-Shollaardt Netherlands. Individual: 27/27 September – It will be played over two days with four sessions. The winner will be given the title of Youth Triathlon World Individual Champion and medals (Gold, Silver and Bronze) will be awarded to the leading 3 Individuals. 112 players competed at the last edition held in 1998 in Lille – the Podium: 1^ Jagniewski Poland, 2^ Shollaardt Netherlands, 3^ Carmichael USA. At the end of the three competitions, the title of Youth Triathlon World Champion will be assigned to the player who will be able to achieve the best results and medals (Gold, Silver and Bronze) will be awarded to the leading 3 players. In 1998, at the last edition of the event held in Lille, Paolo Marino and Daniele Pagani from Italy tied for the World Over-All Ranking Triathlon Title, followed by Mik Kristensen from Denmark.
