Hi everyone, I’m very happy to announce that our junior team got invited to the Major Alt Invitational. This is a real dream-come-true and a huge opportunity for us to play against some of the world’s best teams, so a big thanks to the organizers! The team consists of: Castor Mann, Erik Hansson, and Alexander Sandin from Sweden, Arthur Boulin and Théo Guillemin from France, Stefan Thorpe from Austria, Edgar Vornkahl (Leo), Lauritz Streck, Florian Alter and myself from Germany.
The qualifying stage consists of 10 matches swiss from Monday, June 22nd – Thursday, June 25th, the playing times are 16:00, 18:30 and 21:00 CET. (only one match on Thursday at 16:00). If you want to kibitz our team, search my nickname (Sibrand) on BBO. I won’t be playing every match but if I’m not playing I’ll be kibitzing. I hope you guys will enjoy kibitzing us as much as we’ll enjoy participating in the event!
