Opening Lead A Declarer ruffed the lead in his hand and led theJ, North won the trick with the queen and returned a spade, but after his double over 5declarer have not doubt about the suit and played small to dummy’s jack. Declarer cashed the king and the ace of trumps and left his hand with theJ. South played theQ and dummy won with the ace. Now declarer play spade to queen, cashed the 10 of diamonds and a diamond to the 8 and claimed 12 tricks: 3 spades, 5 diamonds and 4 clubs. Note that if North after winning the second trick with the trump queen and plays hearts the timing is the same.
