Professor David Scott has had a long-standing interest in leisure social worlds with a focus on serious leisure, recreation specialization, leisure constraints and non-participation. He conducted his PhD on the social world of bridge in the early 1990s. In this webinar he reflects on the ways that research in bridge has shaped three decades of his work within the field of leisure studies.
