The Youth Bridge Association is thrilled to announce our 1st-ever Youth Bridge Association Grand Online Tournament! With more than $400 worth in prizes, you do not want to miss out on the perfect chance to compete against talented youth players from across the world. The Details: Name of tournament: 1st Youth Bridge Association Grand Online Tournament Date: Saturday, 12/19 Time: 1:00-3:30 pm Pacific Standard Time Where: BBO, Pairs format For Whom? Must be U26, No National Team players allowed, all countries are welcomed Stratification:
  • Lower stratification: 1 year or less of experience
  • Upper stratification: open (1+ year experience or if you want to)
  • Lower stratification:
    • 1st place pair: $40 each
    • 2nd place pair: $20 each
    • 3rd place pair: $10 each
  • Upper stratification:
    • 1st place pair: $50 each + 1 year The Bridge World subscription ($100 value)
    • 2nd place pair: $30 each + 1 year The Bridge World subscription ($100 value)
    • 3rd place pair: $15 each + 1 year The Bridge World subscription ($100 value)
Entry Fee? None! How to register Additional Events:
  • 12:30pm-1:00pm: Opening Ceremony on Zoom (partnership desk, tournament registration help, fun trivia)
  • 3:30pm: Closing Ceremony on Zoom, winners are announced and a raffle is conducted (3 raffled winners, 20$ gift card prize, automatic entry into raffle for all participants)

Overall Schedule: 12:30 – 1:00: opening ceremony (partnership desk, sign-up help, trivia) 1:00 – 3:30: tournament 3:30 – 3:45: closing ceremony (announce winners, prizes, + raffles) 3:45 – 4:30: optional post-mortem (All times are Pacific Standard Time) We host this event with the goal to provide a fun, competitive tournament where youth players can get to know each other and see how vast the community is. We hope to bring together the youth community and spark a love for tournament bridge into the hearts of youth players. To make this the largest, most successful online youth tournament ever, we need your help in spreading the word. Please invite all junior players you know to come play!
