We are very pleased to confirm that the 6th World Youth Bridge Open Championship will be held at

Format of the Championship The Championship consists of four events: World Pairs Championship – World Teams Swiss/KO Championship – BAM Teams – World Individual.
Right to enter The Championship is open to all players born on or after 1st January 1994 (Under 26 Men and Women) or born on or after 1st January 1999 (Under 21) or born on or after 1st January 2004 (Under 16) in good standing with their own NBOs. Teams and Pairs be made up of players from the same NBO or from the same Club. NBOs and Clubs may send as many teams or pairs or players as they wish.
To be eligible for participation in the 2019 World Youth Open Bridge Championship all participants must comply with the WBF Laws and Rules & Regulations and sign the WBF Commitment form. Rules & Regulations – Systems Policy The Rules & Regulations, including the Disciplinary Code, will be published, together with the Systems Policy, on the WBF website. Schedule Pairs Registration Tuesday 20th August (starting at 10.00 hrs) Opening Ceremony Tuesday 20th August at 19.30 Pairs Championship From Wednesday 21st to Friday 23rd August (Prize-giving at 18.30) Teams Swiss/KO Championship From Saturday 24th to Tuesday 27th August BAM Teams From Sunday 25th to Tuesday 27th August Grand Individual Wednesday 28th & Thursday 29th August Prize-giving & Closing Ceremony Thursday 29th August at 19.30 hrs. Registration of Pairs and Teams The entries to the Championship must be submitted electronically, via the WBF website (notby email) and should be made before 1st July 2019 wherever possible. Entries for pairs willbe accepted later provided there is sufficient space at the venue. The website will be openfor registration from 1st April 2019. Registration for teams composed of players who participated in the Youth Pairs World Championship and wish to enter the World Swiss/KO Youth Teams Championship, for teams eliminated from the Swiss/KO World Championship and wishing to enter the BAM Teams and for players wishing to enter in the World Grand Individual Championship may be made on site. Entry Fees The entry fees are: World Youth Pairs 200 € (Euros) World Youth Swiss/KO Teams Championship 750 € (Euros) Teams from Swiss/KO will drop into the BAM Teams. Entry is free of charge for the teams coming from the Swiss/KO, otherwise the entry fee is 200 € (Euros). Entry is free of charge to enter the Grand Individual. Hotel Accommodation The Local Organising Committee (LOC) agreed special preferential daily rates per person as per follows:
