South Australia Youth at lunch break The South Australian youth bridge community is quite small, considering the fact that there are many youngish bridge stars still resident in Adelaide, some of whom, like Barbara & Jeff Travis and Phil Gue, have provided us
with players for the future. Most of the team here learned from family members: grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles.
The youngest member is Lincoln, 11, then Fletcher, 13, George, 15, Bertie, 16, David, 21 and Jessica, 22, with David Parrott npc. David Gue now runs the Adelaide Bridge Centre while Phil Gue and Margaret are cruising directors at sea! The team has had guru Justin Williams give them free lessons and play. Most of the team play Standard, and have had lessons at SABA with Justin.
So, a small but keen group of young players, who need support and encouragement. Go, South Australia Youth!
