Just ended the first pairs tournament at the festival in Sweden !!! In a bitter struggle, our juniors Maria Vinogradova and Sergey Matushko took 3rd place !!!!!! 103 couples participated !!! Congratulations, my relatives !! I am proud of you !!!
Our junior team consisting of Alena Kostina, Alexey Potemkin, Sergey Matushko, Maria Vinogradova and I went to Sweden for the biggest summer festival in Europe. 167 teams from 23 countries of the world take part in the team tournament. The goal in 13 rounds is to be selected in 32 teams or at least 64. We will fight 🙂 After three rounds, we are in 96th place.
Don’t forget – you can still enter for the 6th World Youth Open Bridge Championships being held in Croatia from 20 – 29 August.
