The first 5 Imps were for Netherlands, when they played a spade partscore, and made it, where England played the spade game down.
Netherlands continued adding 3 IMPs more two boards later, when they doubled 4

down one. England at the other table didn’t double the same contract with the same result and they added 1 IMP more in each of the next two boards.

Both rooms played the same contract, but Netherlands was a little untidy.
Both declarers got the same lead

Q, and both won the trick in the hand with the ace. Price (ENG) continued with a club to the king when North played low and continued removing his opps spades. At the end he lost two tricks.
Tom van Overbeeke (NTH) instead, after winning the diamond lead continued playing a diamond. North ruffed…THE END, down one and 13 IMPs for England.
Board 18 was a nice surprise for Netherlands and bad news for England.

Stephen Kennedy (ENG) opened 1NT and West mentioned his spades, Ye (ENG) went to 2NT but East supported his partner´s suit at the third level ending the bidding. Ye´s club lead helped the declarer with his ninth trick.
At the other table England arrived to an easy 2

contract and made 10 tricks, receiving a present of 7 IMPs.
The match ended: Netherlands 19 – England 13
